Terms of service
Last updated October 24, 2026.
Whisk & Wonder is a small personal recipe and meal-planning site run by Joseph Dummar. By using it, on the website, in the phone app, through the Chrome extension, or through an AI assistant you connect, you agree to these terms.
Using Whisk & Wonder
- It’s free, and it’s offered as is. Features can change, and the service may be unavailable at times.
- Use it for your own household’s cooking and shopping. Don’t try to break it, overload it, or get into other people’s accounts.
- You’re responsible for what you add, like recipes and photos, and for having the right to add it.
- Recipes found in Discover link to the websites they come from and belong to those sites.
Food, nutrition and prices
Nutrition numbers, cost estimates, unit-price comparisons and grocery lists are estimates to help you plan. They can be wrong. Check labels for allergies and dietary needs, and check prices at the store before you buy.
AI assistants
If you connect an AI assistant (like Claude or ChatGPT), it acts in your account only when you ask it to, and it can change your household’s recipes, plans, lists and pantry the way you can. Check what it does; you can disconnect it at any time on the Connect AI page. What the assistant does with your conversation is covered by that company’s own terms and privacy policy.
Your data
The privacy policy explains what’s kept and why. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Account settings.
Liability
Whisk & Wonder is provided without warranties. To the extent the law allows, it isn’t liable for losses from using it, such as a recipe that doesn’t turn out, an estimate that’s off, or data lost in an outage.
